Question about traveling to Ireland

I'm lucky enough to be doing a bucket list vacation at the end of April this year. Will be flying to Dublin, staying a couple nights, renting a car, and driving across the country and staying in Cork, Killarney, Galway, and Limerick along the way for a total of 9 nights. I'm obviously stopping by the Peterson shop in Dublin where I plan to buy my first Peterson pipe, but I also want to smoke as many bowls as possible throughout our journey.

In looking up the customs restrictions online it indicates that I can bring up to 250 grams of pipe tobacco. What I'm curious about is if I can portion it out into pouches (and they will weigh it?), or do I need to have unopened, labeled tins/containers?
